Superior Metal Products Company
is proud to be a partner with
Energy Star®

Energy Star® is an independent U.S. Government program establishing a standard set of guidelines to recognize the energy efficiency of various products. In the home building and remodeling industry, Energy Star® guidelines are used in conjunction with a variety of building materials, including windows and patio doors.

Energy Star® is a voluntary partnership between the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the fenestration industry. It is designed to assist consumers in the recognition of energy efficient products-and promote the environmental and economic benefits of these products through the Energy Star® label and other program activities.

The performance criteria for windows and doors is different depending on what region of the country the window is being sold. The ENERGY STAR® climate map below shows how the country is divided into three regions; Northern, Southern and Central. These four regions have different guidelines due to the different climates. Superior's all-welded vinyl window products meet the strict energy guidelines for the all four regions. Superior is proud to be an ENERGY STAR® partner.

As an Energy Star® Partner, Superior Metal Products Company, Inc. manufacturers some of the finest constructed, energy-saving vinyl windows in the industry for both new construction and replacement. The Superior all-welded vinyl window collection offers an array of custom shapes and sizes in double-hung, slider, and picture window combinations to complement any architectural style.
